When you use WeTransfer, anyone can download your files—there’s no need for them to log in or sign up. They’ll have to accept our Terms of Service and we may ask them to accept cookies, but that’s it!

With the Ultimate plan, you can create your own Smart Transfer page where anyone can send you unlimited files — powered by the full strength of Ultimate.

That means clients and collaborators can deliver the large files you need without creating an account. All they need is the unique URL to your page, and you’re ready to receive files instantly.

To add team members, you’ll first need to upgrade to the Teams plan. Team features aren’t available on the Free, Starter, or Ultimate plans.

With Teams, every member gets access to the same plan benefits. They’ll be able to send and receive transfers from your Smart Transfer page and manage everything from one shared overview.

Once you’re on the Teams plan, you can invite as many members as you like from your team management settings. You’ll also have full control to add or remove members at any time while your subscription is active.

By default, every account includes up to 30GB of storage, no matter which plan you’re on. If you reach this limit, you’ll need to free up space by deleting some of your sent or received transfers. Until you do, new transfers can’t be sent or received.

If you require additional storage, you can contact our support team. We’ll do our best to extend your capacity, but please note that unlimited storage is not available.

The Free plan is designed for personal, non‑commercial sharing. You can send and share files with anyone via email or a download link — perfect for photos, documents, or small creative projects with friends and collaborators.

Please note: the Free plan is strictly for non‑commercial purposes. If you’re using Smart Transfer for business or professional work, we recommend upgrading to one of our paid plans. Paid plans are built to support commercial use and include extra features like larger transfers, expanded storage, and custom branding options.

All Smart Transfer subscriptions are set to renew automatically. You can cancel anytime directly from your Account Settings.

After cancellation, you (and any team members linked to your account) will continue to enjoy your plan until the end of the current subscription period. Once it expires, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.

To keep your files safe from attack or misuse, every transfer is encrypted during transit (TLS) and while stored (AES‑256). Once uploaded, files can only be accessed using the unique links provided to the sender and recipient.
